The Surah has different stories of those who believed and that helped them to overcome their problems and sufferings. The Surah was revealed in the third stage of Prophethood in Makkah.

In this Surah, we get to understand that if you follow the teachings and commands of Allah (SWT) with all honesty then you can achieve salvation. Surah Kahf tells us about the story of the early believers who accepted the message of Allah (SWT) after hearing it. However, they were about to suffer consequences from their society, so they escaped and sought safety in a cave, where Allah Ta’ala gave them a long-lasting sleep. Their entire city had embraced Islam by that point.

Surah Kahf teaches us about the immense blessings of Allah and how we should be grateful for them. Surah Kahf also encourages Muslims to say “In shaa Allah ” before any work to seek Allah’s will and guidance. There are immense benefits of reading surah kahf on Friday.

Benefits Of Reading Surah Kahf On Friday

1. Protection From The Evil Of Dajjal

One of the most well-known figures of the end times is Dajjal. He will wreak chaos and bring about human destruction as well as global destruction. This might lead a lot of people with poor faith to turn towards him and gather around him. Those who still have faith will then beg Allah (God) Almighty to protect them from his wreck.

This is one of the most important benefits of reciting Surah Kahf. If we recite the first and last ten verses of Surah Kahf, it will protect us from the fitna of Dajjal.

Many scholars believe that we are nearing the end of time, so it is essential that we take this seriously, follow the hadith, and encourage our kids to do the same.

“If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of the Surah al-Kahf, he will be protected from the Dajjal.”

(Sahih Muslim 809a)

2. Way Towards Forgiveness

A man is bound to commit mistakes. We are all flawed and nobody is perfect, however, what’s important is that we avoid repeating our sins and mistakes and ask for Allah’s forgiveness. Allah is the greatest and He forgives the ones who genuinely ask for it and tries their best to never commit the same mistake. We are here in this world to gain the fulfillment of Allah (SWT) and that should be our main goal.

One of the ideal times to beg God for forgiveness is on Friday when reading Surah Kahf and making a genuine prophecy of sincerity.

3. Strengthens Your Faith

One of the many benefits of Surah Kahf is that it strengthens your faith. The different stories narrated in Surah Kahf tell us about the importance of strong faith and that Allah helps those who follow His path. Anyone who understands these stories will get wisdom from them.

The surah al-Kahf contains stories. In the stories of Ashabul Kahf, there is a story of the king of Dhu al-Karnain, the owner of two gardens, Prophet Moses and Prophet Khidr, and the master of two gardens. The young men who defend the faith and are forced to spend time in seclusion in the cave are the subject of Kahf’s ashabul.

The Prophet Moses and Prophet Khidr Story narrates the tale of Moses studying the Prophet Khidr Believer who frequently “crossed” with the Prophet Moses’ thoughts. However, it turns out that Prophet Khidr possesses knowledge that is filled with wisdom that Moses lacked.

4. Enlightenment

Surah Al Kahf has the power to enlighten your life if you read it on Friday. No matter how far away the reader is from the House of Allah, the hadith claims that the Surah illuminates them and that a stretch of light extends over the entire space between them and the Kabah. One will be showered with an abundance of benefits and mercy from Allah by reciting the Surah on Friday night.

From this, we can conclude that any Muslim who reads Surah al Kahf every Friday becomes the blessed one by doing so.

Importance Of Surah Kahf

Surah Kahf has some very important lessons for us. We can understand the importance of Surah Kahf from these four subjects which have been discussed in it.

The trial of Faith is the first and most important subject of Surah Kahf. It is discussed from verse 9 to verse 26 of Surah Kahf. The following verses discuss the Ashab Al Kahf or the People of Cave. In this, Allah has told us about the importance of firm belief and strong Faith in God and how Allah (SWT) protects His righteous people.

The trial of wealth is the second key subject that has been discussed from verse 32 to verse 44 in Surah Kahf. This story focuses on the story of the wealthy and the poor. The lesson that we can learn is that all material wealth in this world is a test from Allah. A person’s wealth is not a sign of whether Allah (SWT) loves them or not. The believer’s faith, on the other hand, is their genuine wealth. The greatest blessing is to have faith in God.

The trial of knowledge, the third significant subject of Surah Kahf extends from verse 60 to verse 82. It talks about Prophet Moses and Al Khizr. When one of Allah’s greatest and mightiest Messengers Moses first approaches Khizr and asks him to teach from the knowledge Allah has given him, he learns his lesson of humbleness before Allah.

Trial of Power is the fourth important lesson that we can learn from Surah Kahf. This subject extends from verse 83 to verse 98. In this theme, the prophecy regarding Yajuj Majuj as well as Dhul QarNayn is shed light upon.
